Ascott wins top honours

Ascott Limited (Ascott), a wholly-owned unit of CapitaLand, has been recognised as the best serviced residence provider in Asia Pacific and Europe, following a number of international awards from leading travel publications.


For the eighth consecutive year, Ascott was recognised as the ‘Best Serviced Residence Operator’ at the 23rd TTG Travel Awards held in Bangkok on 4 October. The award is based on votes from readers of TTG Asia Media’s stable of publications.


In addition, Ascott clinched the ‘Best Serviced Residence Brand in Asia-Pacific’ (for the ninth time) at the Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards. Ascott Raffles Place Singapore was also named ‘Best Serviced Residence in Asia-Pacific’ while Ascott Jakarta came in second place.


Over in the UK, Ascott was named ‘Best Serviced Apartment Company’ for the sixth year at the Business Traveller UK Awards.


“We are honoured to have won these prestigious awards every year since the inception of their serviced residence award category. We thank our customers and travel partners for their continued vote of confidence, and for making us the most awarded serviced residence company in the world,” said Chong Kee Hiong, CEO of Ascott.


He added that the awards reflect the quality of their products and services and “reaffirms the strong brand reputation we have built over the past 28 years”.


Established in Singapore in 1984, Ascott has a presence in over 70 global cities and provides a “home-away-from-home experience”, said Chong, adding that Ascott will “continue to innovate and enhance our product offerings and service quality, to deliver unique Ascott moments across every touch point”.
