APREA Singapore names new chairman

The Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) Singapore Chapter has named Andy Tan Chye Guan as its new Chairman.

Aside from being the current Executive Vice President of MEAG Pacific Star Asset Management, he is also a member of the Board and Governing Council of the Singapore Institute of Directors and Chairman of its Building and Fundraising Committee.

“I am humbled to be appointed Chairman of the APREA Singapore Chapter, to work alongside my distinguished and respected board and chapter members,” said Tan.

He added that the appointment “reflects the importance of the Singapore membership to APREA’s goals and objectives”.

Tan has years of global and diversified experience in real estate investment and business development, as well as asset and fund management in Asia, Australia and Europe.

APREA, a premier association of fund managers, institutional investors and professionals in Asian real estate, has over 180 corporate members across Asia Pacific, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
