Government to release three residential sites estimated to
yield 1,600 housing units in August 2012

To provide developers and home-buyers with more choices for private housing, the  Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched two residential sites at New Upper Changi Road (Parcel A) and Prince Charles Crescent while the Housing & Development Board (HDB) launched an Executive Condominium site at Woodlands Avenue 6 / Woodlands Drive 16 for sale by public tender today.

The two land parcels at New Upper Changi Road (Parcel A) and Woodlands Avenue 6 / Woodlands Drive 16  are launched for sale under the Confirmed List of the 2nd half 2012 (2H2012) Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

The third land parcel at Prince Charles Crescent was made available for sale through the Reserve List system on 15 May 2012. On 30 July 2012, URA announced that it had received an application from a developer to put up the land parcel for public tender at a bid price of not less than $390,000,000.

Together, these three sites can yield about 1,600 residential units.

Land Parcel at New Upper Changi Road (Parcel A)
The site at New Upper Changi Road (Parcel A) is located within an established private housing estate and close to Tanah Merah MRT Interchange station. It is also easily accessible by East Coast Parkway and Pan Island Expressway.

Land Parcel at Prince Charles Crescent
The land parcel is located in an established residential area within the central region.  It is located near Redhill MRT station and is also a short drive away from the Central Business District, Marina Bay and Orchard Road.

 Land Parcel at Woodlands Avenue 6 / Woodlands Drive 16
Situated within the HDB Woodlands estate, the site is near to Admiralty and Woodlands MRT stations. It is also easily accessible via Seletar Expressway (SLE).

Other Details

Tender for the residential sites at Prince Charles Crescent, Woodlands Avenue 6 / Woodlands Drive 16 and New Upper Changi Road (Parcel A) and will close at 12 noon on 20 September 2012, 9 October 2012 and 16 October 2012 respectively. Selection of the successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only.
