Samsung Galaxy Note 2 benchmarks leaked?

Following recent reports of a larger and better Samsung Galaxy Note, more purported specs of the upcoming "phablet" have now been leaked.

PhoneArena glimpsed the device on GLBenchmark.com with the model number GT-N7100, and was subsequently pulled. Given that the original Note's model number is GT-N7000, it seems highly likely that's the second Note.

If the specs are true, then the Galaxy Note 2 will have the same quad-core Exynos 4412 processor as the Samsung Galaxy S III (S3), but a faster clock speed at 1.6GHz. Earlier reports have pegged the screen size at a larger 5.5 inches and a bumped-up camera resolution of 12 megapixels.

Potential downsides: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS instead of Jelly Bean and a lower screen resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, compared with the Note's 1,280 x 800 pixels.

Seeing that it has been almost a year since the original Note was launched, we say it's about time for a follow-up.
