Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to debut in August?

Would this 10.1-inch Android tablet be available next month?

Samsung is poised to unveil a new Galaxy device next month and it could very well be the Galaxy Note 10.1.  

The company recently sent out invitations for an event in the US happening on August 15, and as usual, the only detail revealed is that it will be a Galaxy device. Since Samsung has recently launched its flagship smartphone--the Galaxy S III--we don't think that a new handset is likely. While

Instead, the focus this time round could be a new Android tablet. Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 slates have been available for a while, and they haven't exactly set the tablet scene alight. The Galaxy Note 10.1, together with Samsung's take on the stylus, could be the answer.

The company has found moderate success with the Galaxy Note and a tablet would be a better fit for a stylus-toting device. Samsung also has had more than sufficient time to refine the Note 10.1 since we first saw it in February at the Mobile World Congress. Of course, it's also possible that a Galaxy Note 2 could be coming sooner than we think.
