Is this the iPhone 5's frame?

The iPhone 5 rumor mill is really heating up this week. So far, we've heard about a rumored August 7 announcement, European telcos stocking up on nano-SIM cards, as well as news that the iPhone 5 is already in production.

Now, a Taiwan-based Apple fan site, Apple.Pro, has published photos supposedly of the new iPhone's white frame. Based on the photos, the next iPhone looks to be longer than the iPhone 4S and sports a 16:9 aspect ratio.

According to Apple.Pro, the frame has the same width as the current iPhone 4S, and retains the circular Home button and iSight camera. However, the longish ambient light sensor seems to have been replaced in favor of a smaller circular type.

These images are similar to earlier images from Macotakara showing a visual comparison of a glass panel (supposedly from the iPhone 5) next to the iPhone 4S. It's also in line with rumors that the new iPhone's screen will be bumped up to 4 inches.
