Banyan Tree to unveil Vietnam resort

Banyan Tree Holdings will unveil its first project in Vietnam - the Laguna Lang Cô integrated resort (pictured), on 1 November.

Located on a 280-ha site along the coast of central Vietnam, the resort includes Banyan Tree and Angsana hotels and spas, private villas and residences, an 18-hole golf course, as well as convention and recreational facilities.

Banyan Tree Lang Cô offers 32 one-bedroom lagoon villas as well as 17 one-bedroom beach villas at Canh Duong beach. Meanwhile, its more contemporary sister hotel, Angsana Lang Cô, will feature 229 suites.

The development’s residences will include ocean-facing condominium units and villas. Owners will get exclusive privileges on global exchange programmes, golf memberships and other services within Laguna Lang Cô.

The first phase of the resort has seen a total of US$200 million (S$253.83 million) worth of investments from the Banyan Tree Indochina Hospitality Fund, a real estate investment fund founded in 2008. Subsequent phases will include the development of more hotels and residences for sale.

“Banyan Tree has long been interested in establishing a presence in Vietnam to replicate the success of our flagship integrated resort in Phuket,” said Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings.

“We are confident that Laguna Lang Cô will flourish as a holiday and premium properties destination for both domestic and international luxury tourism.”
