Singapore stocks close slightly weaker

SINGAPORE : Stocks in Singapore closed slightly weaker on Friday amid lingering concerns over the European debt crisis.

The Straits Times Index fell 6.78 points or 0.24 per cent to close at 2,772.75.

Volume was 1.19 billion shares.

Losers led gainers 167 to 165.

Olam International declined 1.8 per cent to S$1.655, Global Logistic Properties rose 2.3 per cent to S$2.02, while CapitaMalls Asia climbed 2.9 per cent to S$1.425.

SingTel dropped 0.65 per cent to S$3.08 while DBS Bank fell 0.38 per cent to close at S$13.17.
