London's Chelsea Creek set for Singapore launch

UK developer St George will unveil Chelsea Creek (pictured), a new waterside project located at King’s Road, London, at an exhibition to be held at St. Regis Hotel, Singapore on 11 to 13 May.

Designed by Squire and Partners, an award-winning architectural practice, the development will feature a series of interlinking waterways that allows residents to access a central dock via their own boat, whether it’s from their apartment building or the River Thames.

Chelsea Creek will offer 24-hour concierge service, car parking and a 4,500 sq ft exclusive world-class spa with a swimming pool and gymnasium. The one- to three-bedroom apartments will feature views of the private landscaped gardens or tranquil waterside.

“The renovation of the lock at the top of Chelsea Creek presents a unique opportunity to create a system of canals, providing a navigable basin connected to the River Thames, and reinventing the history of water-borne access to this fashionable part of Central London,” said Squire and Partners.

According to Neil Bowron, Sales and Marketing Director at St George, “Chelsea Creek is a truly unique and exclusive waterside development, fashionably located adjacent to Chelsea Harbour and Imperial Wharf and just moments from King’s Road. The high-specification range of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments provide direct waterside living in the heart of prime Central London”.

Knight Frank’s research revealed that being close to water can increase the value of an urban property by up to 38 percent.

“Demand for high-quality prime central London waterside properties continues to exceed supply, especially when there are numerous facilities within the development on offer to buyers and the location provides for excellent retail and cultural opportunities,” said Neil Batty, Partner at Knight Frank.
