Enclosure built in Ang Mo Kio to manage stray dogs

SINGAPORE: A dog enclosure is being built at Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West to manage the nuisance of strays.

The enclosure will be ready by May 2.

The stray dogs will be rounded up in the enclosure and re-homed with those who are keen to adopt them, under a Stray Dogs Management Plan.

The plan is a collaborative effort by the National Parks Board and animal welfare groups.

There have been more than 30 complaints over the past six months from residents that stray dogs had been barking and howling at night.
