Jun Ji Hyun brings forward wedding to April

SEOUL: Korean actress Jun Ji Hyun has brought forward her wedding from June 2 to April 13 due to filming commitments, reported Korean media.

A spokesperson from her management agency announced Friday that Jun had originally planned to marry after completing Korean director Ryu Seung Wan's new action film, "Berlin".

However, the film's shooting schedule changed, so the actress chose to bring forward her wedding in order to focus on the film after she ties the knot.

"The wedding venue is the same. We just had to bring the wedding date forward so she can continue shooting a movie overseas," said a spokesperson for Jun's management agency.

Jun's management agency had previously announced that the actress, who is best known for her roles in the hit film "My Sassy Girl" and action thriller "Blood: The Last Vampire", will be holding her wedding with Choi Jun Hyuk, a banker and the grandson of famed Korean fashion designer Lee Young Hee, at Seoul's Shilla Hotel on June 2.

Jun's decision to bring forward her wedding by almost two months has sparked rumours that the actress is in a hurry to marry because she is already pregnant.

Her management agency has since denied these rumours.
