DBS appoints Peter Triggs to head international private banking team

SINGAPORE: DBS Private Bank is setting up an international private banking team to tap on rising demand from its high net worth clients who are keen to invest in Asia's growth.


It has appointed 57-year-old Peter Triggs to head its International and Wealth Structuring business based in Singapore.


Mr Triggs has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry and he will report to Group Head of Wealth Management, Tan Su Shan at DBS.


He joins DBS from Bank of China (Suisse) SA, where he held the positions of Deputy CEO and Head of International Private Banking.


Apart from Mr Triggs, DBS Private Bank also hired Yann Mocellin from Swiss-Asia Financial Services and James Tan from Credit Suisse.


The bank said it will add two more senior relationship managers to the team in May.


DBS said the team will help to accelerate the pace of growth of DBS' private banking business.
